Job description

Description

Overview

Dynasty Financial Partners is hiring a Lead Salesforce Engineer to lead the delivery and ongoing evolution of Dynasty's CRM Platform for RIAs across the Dynasty network.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for architecting, configuring, and extending customized Salesforce environments while overseeing implementation work, QA standards, data migrations, integrations, and outside development partners. The ideal candidate has deep Salesforce administration and platform experience, strong financial services or wealth management context, and the ability to turn advisor and operations workflows into scalable CRM solutions.

Responsibilities

Platform Development and Architecture

  • Architect, configure, and support multiple customized Salesforce instances across the Dynasty network.
  • Design scalable CRM solutions that balance individual firm requirements with platform standards that can be supported across multiple RIAs.
  • Build automation and platform functionality using Salesforce Flow, custom objects, validation rules, Lightning pages, reports, dashboards, and other declarative tools.
  • Extend Salesforce with custom development where configuration alone cannot meet the business requirement.
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards aligned to Client Success, operations, and leadership needs.
  • Implement and maintain CRM integrations across the Dynasty technology stack.
  • Lead data migration work, including data export, transformation, validation, loading, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
  • Lead CRM components of new firm onboarding and system conversion projects from scope through production readiness.

Delivery Management and Quality

  • Scope incoming CRM requests, translate business needs into implementation plans, and sequence work based on priority, complexity, and capacity.
  • Plan, assign, and oversee work across the CRM implementation team.
  • Own QA standards and testing processes for CRM configuration, data migration, integrations, and release readiness.
  • Determine which work should be completed internally versus assigned to outside development partners.
  • Manage external Salesforce vendors and developers to agreed scope, timeline, quality, and budget expectations.
  • Track delivery progress, risks, dependencies, and resource needs, and communicate status clearly to technology leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Maintain documentation standards for requirements, configuration decisions, release notes, instance changes, and support handoff.

Team Leadership and Platform Standards

  • Mentor CRM Implementation Specialists through configuration review, hands-on problem solving, and regular coaching.
  • Help grow the CRM implementation capability as the Dynasty network expands.
  • Monitor CRM and related platform releases and recommend features or changes that improve the advisor and operations experience.
  • Identify repeatable configuration patterns across firms and help convert them into reusable CRM standards.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Client Success teams to ensure CRM delivery aligns with platform strategy and client needs.

Requirements

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, with significant depth in declarative development and administration across complex environments.
  • Experience supporting customized or multi-instance Salesforce environments.
  • Direct experience with Practifi, Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, or a comparable financial services platform built on Salesforce.
  • Experience designing CRM solutions around real end-user workflows, including sales, service, operations, or client relationship management processes.
  • Experience leading the work of Salesforce administrators, implementation specialists, engineers, or outside development partners.
  • Proven ability to deliver client-facing CRM implementations on committed timelines.
  • Strong judgment in balancing firm-specific customization with scalable platform standards.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, technical partners, business stakeholders, and senior leaders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Practifi or Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, particularly householding, relationship modeling, account structures, and financial services data models.
  • Experience in wealth management, RIA, fintech, or financial services environments.
  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or related Salesforce certification.
  • Experience extending Salesforce through Apex, Lightning Web Components, APIs, or custom integrations.
  • Experience managing outside Salesforce development vendors.
  • Experience leading data migrations and system conversions.
  • Experience in a fast-growth environment with multiple concurrent implementations.
