Job description

We are looking for a Senior Salesforce CPQ Developer to join our team help build a creative and scalable Salesforce platform. As a Senior Developer at NVIDIA, you will need to collaborate with a diverse and multi-functional team of SFDC developers/administrators/business analysts and business users within Sales, Service, and several other business units. You'll play an integral part in the design and development of high-performance, scalable applications and features, and dedicated to crafting unit tests and optimizing the existing codebase to make sure that the code follows agreed upon standards. You will require to follow agile methodologies, object-oriented design, accepted design patterns and practices, maintain codebase for continuous integration and deployment, document code, build user guides and test cases. You will also be working with our team of developers/administrators for mentoring, teamwork, and ideation.

We need a self-starter who can work independently and within teams architecting and developing innovative products and features, maintaining professional, mutual-respect, helpful and considerate disposition towards colleagues. This position is part of the Sales Operations team working with the Sr. Manager of Sales Operations and Partner Programs. This is a hands-on development position primarily using Salesforce.com platform and other related technologies!

What you’ll be doing:

As a Senior Salesforce CPQ Developer, you'll be tasked with the following functions:

  • Identify business requirements and be responsible to convert business/functional specifications to detailed technical specifications.

  • Perform hands-on solution design, prototyping, proof-of-concepts, process design, technical design and implementation/enhancement of Quote to Cash with Salesforce CPQ.

  • Provide day to day Salesforce platform and user support.

  • Integrating Salesforce with other external systems - Connectors, API integrations, Web Services & data migrations.

  • Implement ETL for data transfers between Salesforce and other systems using tools like Mulesoft, Workbench, Data Loader etc.

  • Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication.

  • Collaborate with functional teams within Sales Operations, IT, Partner Programs, Enterprise Service.

  • Strong desire to learn new technologies and apply them to address business problems when new features and technologies become available.

  • Part of your job will be dedicated to mentor team members by performing code reviews, identifying alternative solutions and ensure standard application development methodologies and coding standards are followed.

What we need to see:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant field, verifiable by transcripts or equivalent experience.

  • 12+ years of experience in architecting and designing full stack solutions using Salesforce Platform.

  • 5+ years Salesforce CPQ development experience with full cycle Salesforce CPQ project implementations that includes configuration, customization, and implementation.

  • Extensive knowledge of product configuration/bundles, complex pricing rules & sequence, quote configurator plugins, Advanced Approvals, Salesforce CPQ APIs.

  • Proficiency in various CPQ functionalities like perpetual and subscription-based licensing, various discounting models, amendments, extensions, co-terming, renewals.

  • Experience of migration project from Salesforce CPQ to Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advance (RCA) is preferred.

  • Firm grasp on APEX, Visualforce, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Web Services (SOAP/REST), Automations using Trigger, Cloud Flow Designer, Test Class design and debugging.

  • Solid understanding of Salesforce Objects and Data Model

  • Salesforce.com certifications (Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I/II and Salesforce CPQ Specialist).

Ways to stand out from the crowd:
  • Familiarity of environment management, release management, code versioning, and deployment methodologies (use of GIT and AutoRabit or similar tools).

  • Experience performing detailed gap analysis and preparing as-is & to-be process documentation.

  • Capable and willingness to interact with technical and non-technical colleagues, including the ability to facilitate decision-making by clearly representing complex technical subjects.
