Role Summary
The Sales Director is a key leadership role responsible for driving sales growth and maximizing opportunities in the commercial fuels and lubricants sector. This position oversees the development and execution of strategic sales initiatives, manages a team of sales professionals, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate has a strong background in sales, a deep understanding of the commercial fuels and lubricants industry, and a proven track record of success in driving growth.
What You Will Do...
Sales Strategy and Planning
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans and initiatives to drive growth and market penetration in the commercial fuels and lubricants sector.
  • Identify key market segments, target customers, and growth opportunities to prioritize sales efforts and resource allocation.
  • Spearhead the development and implementation of innovative sales strategies to differentiate our products and services in the market.
  • Identify emerging trends, disruptive technologies, and industry shifts to capitalize on new opportunities for revenue growth.

Team Leadership and Management
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning while focused on selling commercial fuels and lubricants.
  • Set clear sales targets, goals, and performance expectations for sales team members and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure success.
  • Empower sales team members to think outside the box, experiment with new ideas, and embrace a growth mindset to achieve collective success.

Customer Relationship Management

Required
  • Five (5) or more years' of sales leadership experience in outside sales in B2B environment or a related field in an associated industry.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Able to develop and close sales processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills and able to learn company systems and processes.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Adheres to the company's values and ethical expectations.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in an applicable field.
  • Sales or operations experience in lubricant and fuel industry.
  • Experience using CRM Solutions and NetSuite.
  • Knowledge of businesses in work area.
  • Experience in Marketing in B2B and consumer arenas.
