YOUR ROLE IN CREATING GERONIMOMENTS

As the Membership Sales & Retention Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting the Management Team to drive the overall financial success of be FITNESS through member engagement.  You will be responsible for  tracking member engagement to ensure members are getting the most out of their membership while consistently  delivering top-notch experiences to current members and prospects. You will be responsible for recruiting new  members into the club, sourcing referrals and leads, and transitioning leads into membership sales. Also, you will  be responsible for helping to achieve personal training, massage and Pilates revenue goals each month by  matching new members to a membership track that fits their health & fitness goals. 


WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

  • Build new sales opportunities by connecting with individuals, groups, companies, local businesses, and community partners.
  • Manage leads, follow up tasks, new member touchpoints, and member check ins through Club OS, including calls, texts, emails, documentation, and pipeline updates.
  • Welcome and orient new members by introducing them to staff, scheduling fitness consultations, InBody scans, appointments, and helping create a personalized onboarding experience.
  • Identify and reengage at risk or inactive members through attendance reports, Club OS tasks, and friendly solution focused follow up to improve retention.
  • Support member engagement through club events, challenges, promotions, partnerships, signage, and exclusive local member perks.
  • Develop and manage internal social media content, including weekly updates, class and event promotions, member spotlights, basic graphics or video, and timely responses to comments or questions.
  • Track and report membership sales, initiation fees, revenue goals, Plus 1 goals, social media performance, engagement metrics, and retention progress.
  • Represent the club professionally, promote positive relationships among members, staff, vendors, and the community, follow company policies, support safety goals, and prioritize ongoing professional development.

WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED


Experience and/or Training 

  • At least one years' experience in personal training, group exercise, sales, and/or member engagement.  

Sales and Marketing 

  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling services. This includes strategies, tactics, and sales techniques  

Technology/Equipment 

  • Ability to develop and maintain computer records in Word, Excel and other software required by be FITNESS and regulatory agencies.  Ability to develop tracking and report forms in Word and Excel as needed  

Problem Anticipation/ Deductive Reasoning 

  • Ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong and then apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.  Uses logic and reasoning to Member Engagement Specialist identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems and considers the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.  

Computer

  • Ability to develop and maintain computer records in Word, Excel and other software required by be FITNESS and regulatory agencies. Ability to develop tracking and report forms in Word and Excel as needed
