A Sales Representative Account Executive is a professional responsible for selling a company's products or services to clients, managing client accounts, and building long-term business relationships. They identify potential customers, present and demonstrate products, negotiate sales contracts, and work to meet sales targets. Additionally, they provide ongoing support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. This role often involves a combination of inside and outside sales activities, strategic planning, and communication with various departments within the company.

The Role

We are seeking a driven and energetic Sales Representative / Account Executive to help grow our customer base and expand existing relationships throughout the construction and contractor markets. This is a high-impact, field-and-phone sales role with significant earning potential and opportunities for advancement.

The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, highly motivated, and enjoys working directly with contractors, builders, and construction professionals.

What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Prospect, develop, and close new contractor, builder, and commercial customer accounts
  • Manage and grow existing customer relationships through consistent communication and exceptional service
  • Prepare quotes, coordinate equipment rentals, and ensure successful project execution
  • Utilize proprietary lead-generation tools and market intelligence to identify active construction projects and business opportunities
  • Conduct field visits to job sites, contractor offices, and customer locations
  • Achieve monthly revenue, account growth, and equipment utilization targets
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and opportunities within CRM systems
  • Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to ensure outstanding customer experiences
  • Stay informed about market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity
What You Bring
  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in equipment rental, construction, industrial supply, building materials, or related industries
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Experience developing new business and managing customer accounts
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment, including excavators, boom lifts, skid steers, and related machinery, is a strong plus
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working both in the field and over the phone
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and willingness to travel locally as needed
