This is more than an operations role — it’s an opportunity to become a visible leader within one of Oregon’s most respected remodeling companies and help shape the future of home improvement in the Eugene community.

If you are energized by developing high-performing teams, strengthening client relationships, building collaboration and trust, and driving business growth, this could be the next major step in your career.

About Neil Kelly

We are known for award-winning design, exceptional craftsmanship, sustainability leadership, and a culture grounded in integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

We build projects. We build careers. And we build long-term client relationships.

Why This Role Matters

Eugene is a unique and growing market with homeowners who value craftsmanship, sustainability, creativity, and trusted partnerships. You will serve as the face of Neil Kelly in the region while leading the overall health and performance of the Eugene / Springfield operation.

This role requires a strong leader who can develop people, reinforce operational standards, foster accountability, and build trust across teams. This role reports directly to the CEO, serves on the Leadership Team, and works closely with the VP of Sales and VP of Operations to align business strategy, operational performance, and market growth initiatives.

What You'll Do

You are accountable for the overall health and performance of the Eugene / Springfield operation, including leadership of a team of approximately 25 employees across design, project management, handyman services, and field production.

Drive Sales & Market Growth

  • Lead the Eugene business unit to achieve and exceed sales and revenue goals
  • Build a strong local presence through networking within the Eugene business and residential community
  • Partner with sales, marketing, and production leaders to grow market share and client relationships
  • Support lead generation efforts and ensure opportunities are assigned strategically
  • Champion Neil Kelly’s brand through community involvement, industry events, and public engagement
  • Strengthen Neil Kelly’s reputation as the premier design-build remodeling company in the region

Lead High-Performing Teams

  • Coach, mentor, and develop sales and production teams to maximize performance and accountability
  • Foster a collaborative, positive, and results-oriented culture
  • Build trust and strong working relationships across teams and departments
  • Partner with HR to recruit, onboard, and retain exceptional talent
  • Conduct regular performance conversations and support employee growth and development
  • Reinforce company policies, operational standards, and consistent execution across the team

Strengthen Customer Experience

  • Ensure homeowners receive an outstanding experience from first conversation through project completion
  • Resolve customer concerns proactively and professionally
  • Help maintain Neil Kelly’s reputation for trust, craftsmanship, and integrity

Represent Neil Kelly in Eugene

  • Serve as a visible ambassador for the company throughout Lane County and surrounding communities
  • Participate in trade associations, networking groups, and local events
  • Support marketing initiatives by sharing industry insights, project stories, and thought leadership content
  • Maintain an active and professional presence that strengthens brand awareness and credibility

The Leader We’re Looking For

You are:

  • A proven people leader who builds accountability, trust, and strong team culture
  • Proven in business development, sales leadership, and operational management
  • Skilled at developing employees, coaching performance, and reinforcing operational standards
  • Comfortable leading change, improving processes, and driving consistent execution
  • A strong communicator and relationship builder
  • Passionate about customer service and community engagement
  • Confident, humble, collaborative, and emotionally intelligent
  • Experienced in remodeling, construction, home services, or a related industry (preferred)

You understand that strong businesses are built through people, systems, accountability, and trust.

Compensation & Benefits

This role offers an annual salary and benefits including:

  • Monthly vehicle stipend
  • Monthly cell phone stipend
  • Comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, vision, and Employee Assistance Program).
  • Flexible spending & health savings accounts.
  • Paid holiday, sick, and vacation time.
  • Long-term disability & life insurance.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Optional benefits like Legal, Pet Insurance, Accident, and Hospital Indemnity Insurance.

Position Details

  • Full-time, on-site leadership role
  • Monday–Friday schedule with flexibility based on business needs
  • Regular travel throughout the Eugene market and surrounding areas required
