Job description

ETC is hiring interns for the summer of 2027!

Some of the duties you may be doing:
• Assists in implementing the design of a custom project
• Assists in acquiring information from dealers, consultants, engineers, electricians, reps. and end users in a timely and professional manner
• Assists in review of quotations, sales order and purchase orders
• Outlines system requirements
• Reviews submittal drawings/check printing
• Participates in the project’s progress to ensure the scheduled ship date is met
• Produces Visio or AutoCAD shop drawings
• Submits shop drawings to Systems Engineering for review
• Process sales order changes
• Produces release documentation for manufacturing
• Updates project schedules
• Supports technicians performing system energization
• Assists Project Managers as required
• Completes special projects and requests in a timely and positive fashion
• Back-up Project Managers when out of office
• Other tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• 1-2 years post high school education in area of specialization (Business or Theatre preferred)
• GPA: 3.0 or higher
• Practical knowledge of theatrical lighting systems
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Strong motivation and attention to detail
• Microsoft Office/PC skills
• Able to work well under pressure and set priorities for multiple projects
