The Project Manager - Reroofing Sales role is a key position responsible for driving new business, managing client relationships, and overseeing reroofing projects from initial contact through proposal delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced commercial roofing professionals who are passionate about sales, project management, and delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and qualify project bidding opportunities through roofing surveys and market research.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, asset managers, property managers, facility managers, building engineers, and roof consultants.
  • Generate new business through networking, prospecting, and direct outreach.
  • Prepare, deliver, and present detailed project proposals to clients.
  • Document project scopes and recommendations accurately for customers.
  • Expand technical knowledge of commercial roofing systems and project-specific requirements.
  • Promote a customer-centric approach within the company and in all client interactions.
  • Represent and promote the Rackley Roofing brand in the marketplace.
  • Collaborate with the estimating team to develop competitive proposals.
  • Track and record project opportunities and sales activities in the Dataforma database.
  • Meet or exceed company sales and growth targets for reroofing and sheet metal projects.
  • Maintain availability during core business hours (Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm) and provide flexibility for after-hours needs as required.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial sales experience, with a proven track record in acquiring new roofing business.
  • Previous experience in commercial roofing is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Comfortable working at heights and spending time on roofs.
  • Experience with direct selling of large-scale projects.
  • Valid driver’s license.
