Description

Air Network Product & Performance is responsible for driving performance, planning, and product enablement across the air network. This role will lead the performance framework across air carriers, improves network visibility and reliability, and leverage forecasting and planning models to support network decisions, enabling consistent execution and continuous improvement across the network.

Responsibilities

Network Performance & Carrier Management

  • Establish and manage performance frameworksย across air carriers (service, cost, reliability)
  • Drive active performance management, including KPI tracking, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
  • Support structured carrier engagement with fact-based insights (capacity, performance, cost drivers)
  • Improve visibility and accountability across the network

Planning, Forecasting & Decision Support

  • Develop robust forecasting and planning modelsย to support network and capacity decisions
  • Analyze volume flows, trade lanes, and cost/service trade-offs
  • Replace ad hoc or "napkin math" approaches with structured, repeatable analysis
  • Support evaluation of new opportunities alongside Solutions and Commercial teams

Product Enablement (Air Freight, Courier, SHS)

  • Support scalable development of, Air Freight, Express Courier, Non-Standard Courier (SHS: oversize, special handling, supply chain solutions)
  • Translate commercial opportunities into operationally viable service models
  • Define parameters, constraints, and requirements to enable consistent execution
  • Work closely with Sales and Implementation teams to operationalize offerings

Process, Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Establish structured approaches to:
    • Network planning and evaluation
    • Product rollout and implementation
    • Performance management and reporting
  • Build tools, templates, and governance routinesย to drive consistency
  • Apply continuous improvement and quality management disciplineย across the air network

Program & Cross-Functional Delivery

  • Lead or support cross-functional initiatives (network changes, new services, product launches)
  • Coordinate across Operations, Commercial, IT, and partners to ensure aligned execution
  • Provide disciplined program structure using PMI-based approaches
Qualifications

7-10 years of progressive experience in all or a combination of:

    • Air cargo / airline operations or network environment or
    • Freight forwarding / integrated logistics
    • Carrier or vendor performance management
    • Product and service development
    • Network planning, forecasting, or operational analysis
  • Strong analytical capability (, modeling, scenario analysis, Powerpoint)
  • Experience applying structured program and project management (PMI discipline)
  • Process-oriented mindset with focus on consistency, governance, and execution
  • Ability to translate commercial opportunities into operational reality
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration (Operations, Commercial, Implementation)
  • Clear, practical communicator
