Job description

Robinson Lumber Company is looking to hire an Order Management Specialist to join our team!

In this position, you will support the customer and order lifecycle from order entry through shipment handoff. You will work closely with experienced team members to ensure orders are processed accurately and on time, while learning how different parts of the business connect. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, eager to learn, and comfortable working with multiple tasks at once.

We have a strong operations team in place that will provide hands-on training and day-to-day support. The right candidate does not need extensive experience, but should be dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to grow in a fast-paced environment.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Entering and updating sales orders and purchase orders with guidance from the team
  • Assisting in coordination between Sales, Logistics, Credit, and Supply teams
  • Helping maintain accurate order and shipment records in Salesforce
  • Monitoring open orders and flagging issues or delays to senior team members
  • Supporting credit and documentation follow-ups as needed
  • Learning to identify and help resolve basic order discrepancies
  • Other tasks as assigned
To be considered, you should:
  • Be organized and able to manage multiple tasks at once
  • Communicate clearly and ask questions when unsure
  • Be dependable and eager to learn new systems and processes
