What youll do

The National Sales Specialist supports the National Distribution sales team by coordinating promotional programs, new product launches, customer initiatives, and sales operations. Working closely with the National Sales Manager and Key Account Managers, this role partners with cross-functional teams to ensure customer commitments are executed accurately and on time while supporting profitable growth across Henkel Hair Professional Canadian National Distribution business. This position plays a key role in sales operations, business planning, project coordination, customer communication, and operational execution.

  • Support the National Sales Manager and National Distribution sales team in achieving sales, profit, and business objectives through strong execution, coordination, and business support.
  • Develop a strong understanding of distributor customers, Henkel's portfolio, market trends, competitive activity, and the professional beauty industry while building effective relationships with key customer contacts and cross-functional partners.
  • Coordinate promotional programs, new product launches, pricing updates, and customer initiatives, proactively managing timelines to ensure documentation, deliverables, and customer commitments are completed accurately and on schedule. 
  • Prepare customer presentations and business materials for Sell-In Meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), Joint Business Planning (JBP) meetings, National Sales Meetings, customer events, and other business reviews.
  • Conduct market visits to support promotional execution, strengthen customer relationships, gather market insights, and identify opportunities to improve business performance.
  • Coordinate customer education requests, promotional assets, customer communications, and event logistics to support successful customer programs and exceptional customer experience.
  • Manage cross-functional projects, monitor progress, identify execution risks, and proactively communicate updates to stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of business initiatives.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes and increase the efficiency and effectiveness of sales operations.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
