Sales Operations Manager is a people manager role, managing 4 team members that support the Retail Sales organization. This role is the focal and control point for all sales reporting and analytics within either the National or Regional Sales Offices. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, Sales Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Reporting on Key Performance Indicators, Program Management, Accrual reconciliations, P&L Analysis, etc. This position works closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance, to advance corporate objectives as well as our Customers.

  • Lead the annual Management Plan development process in partnership with Sales and Product Marketing to establish monthly retailer and category level revenue targets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales and Product Marketing to define yearly Marketing Development Funding programs.
  • Develop and continuously refine financial forecasting methodologies to accurately reflect monthly revenue opportunities. Build consensus with Account teams, Product Marketing and Supply Chain to align on single source of truth.
  • Support Quarterly Sales budgeting process across all retail channels. Partner with Management by Objectives team to assign individualized Scorecards and audit results across core metrics in a quarterly cadence.
  • Reconcile monthly accruals to ensure accuracy and partner with cross functionally to close any gaps.
  • Lead and facilitate buying group program related reporting and payment calculations as a subject matter expert and liaison to the sales organization. Partner with product marketing to ensure funding accruals and facilitate payment to customers.
  • Manage weekly/monthly revenue dashboard to executive team to provide visibility into sales performance across all regions and product categories.
  • Standardize, create, manage and provide weekly reports and analysis of the business results to Sales, Product Marketing and Supply Chain teams, as well as our customers.
  • Continuously develop and deploy tools (Tableau or AI based) and processes that support the achievement of corporate objectives.
  • Anticipate future business requirements; perpetually measure the pulse of the organization and their department objectives to ensure cohesion of strategic priorities.
  • Ensure stakeholders receive information necessary to perform and continuously improve revenue and profitability.
  • Produce and distribute suggested retail pricing to custom install channel accounts (4,000+ customers) through collaboration with product marketing and sales organization.
  • Support the executive team in developing and coordinating internal and external presentation materials.
  • Serve as expert resource on internal processes and procedures and ensure compliance in sales activities.
  • Direct and develop team members to promote individual growth and value creation for Samsung.

Skills and Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of directly related experience is required. Prior operational experience in technology sales, business development and/or OEMs and Carrier sales.
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to schedule, prioritize and communicate actions and results as needed.
  • Possess the ability to effectively leverage and interact with various teams throughout the organization
  • Diplomatic approach to solving complex problems
  • Advanced Proficiency of Microsoft Excel and proficient in Access, Word, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Advanced Proficiency in business systems (Tableau, SAP, Alteryx)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; Experience developing presentations, and communicating with internal as well as the customer's executive management team is a necessity.
  • Must be able to work well under the pressure of timelines, and demonstrate a sense of urgency when driving for results.
  • Strong Team-work, able to effectively participate and motivate others working within a team environment. Also have the ability to take the initiative to get a project done, independently as needed.
  • Prior experience with consumer electronic products and existing relationships with key account preferred.
  • Track record of people management skills; career path planning and delivering maximum output
