Description

We are seeking a data-driven, analytical, and hands-on professional to take ownership of our service-based order-to-cash cycle. This role will oversee the full billing cycle, including charge capture, invoice/claim preparation, submission, collections follow-up, denial tracking, payment posting coordination, AR aging review, and billing issue resolution. The role will also support FP&A by preparing revenue, collections, payer mix, AR, cash flow, and variance reporting for leadership.



Key Responsibilities 


Revenue Operations & Data Management: 

- Oversee daily billing and collections operations, ensuring accurate service-based invoicing and timely cash collection. 

- Implement and enforce internal controls to ensure data accuracy across high-volume customer records which include properly applying claim payments based on EOB received 

- Ensure billing and collections data is accurate, complete, and properly summarized for accounting review, month-end reporting, and financial analysis. 


FP&A, Strategic Reporting & Management Support: 

- Extract and analyze large datasets using Query, SQL, or similar tools. 

- Develop detailed revenue and margin reports and interactive Power BI dashboards.

- Build forecasting models and revenue projections. 

- Present AR aging, cash flow forecasts, and variance analysis to leadership. 

- Be able to produce KPI that will help management with key decisions.


Cross-Functional Coordination: 

- Partner with sales, operations, and accounting teams to ensure proper billing and data mapping. - Resolve complex billing issues and act as escalation point for discrepancies.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field. 

- 4-6 years of experience in accounting, FP&A, revenue operations, or financial analysis. 

- Experience overseeing full billing cycle, preferably in home health, healthcare, or service-based environments. 

- Advanced analytical, modeling, and financial problem-solving skills. 

- Proficiency in Power BI and data visualization tools. 

- Experience with SQL, Power Query, or similar tools. 

- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, lookups). 

- Strong understanding of how billing data impacts financial statements and the general ledger.



This role is critical in ensuring accurate revenue operations and providing strategic financial insight that supports executive decision-making and company growth.
