The Sales Operations Analyst is a new position in the Sales & Marketing Department that will augment the team while working closely with other departments, vendors and stakeholders under the direction of the VP of Sales & Marketing.

Job Description

The Sales Operations Analyst will analyze everything from sales data, marketing campaigns, business development territories, data trends and partner goal performance.  This role will provide key insights that will help develop new and ongoing marketing tactics, provide reports, create presentations of data analysis, assist with data quality assurance, assist with the ETL (Extraction-Transform-Loading) process of data for BI reporting, and be actively involved with the development and maintenance of various partner reports, BI systems and dashboards.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze sales data and provide analysis and insights regarding performance
  • Analyze sales data as it relates to tool usage; provide insights and recommendations
  • Analyze partner goal performance and provide reporting to management
  • Creates queries in SQL to answer business questions based on ad-hoc requests
  • Presents data to management in a variety of formats, charts, dashboards and custom-generated reports
  • Validate data in reports and queries
  • Candidate must be either enrolled in a bachelor's degree program or a recent graduate. The Bachelor's degree must be a focus in computer science, statistics, MIS, math, physics or any other related field

  • Ability to effectively present information to executive management and departments
  • Proficient in the use of data query and analysis tools; Familiarity with database structures, SQL
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • 1-3 years of related professional experience
  • Tableau experience is a plus
  • Experience with Dashboards like Klipfolio, Looker
  • Ability to multi-task, responds well to pressure and deadlines
  • Flexible to changing priorities, project scopes and deadlines
