???? Position Summary

The Financial Analyst supports the organization’s financial planning, reporting, and analysis activities by gathering and analyzing financial and operational data, identifying trends and variances, and preparing reports that support informed business decisions.

This role assists with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, cash flow analysis, and month-end and year-end activities while partnering with Finance and operational leaders to ensure financial information is accurate, timely, and meaningful. The Financial Analyst is an ideal opportunity for an early-career finance professional who demonstrates strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and an interest in developing their financial planning and analysis expertise.

✅ Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & Analysis
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  • Analyze revenue, expenses, and operational performance metrics to identify trends and areas requiring further review.

  • Perform variance analysis comparing actual financial results against budgets and forecasts.

  • Investigate significant variances and assist in identifying underlying business drivers.

  • Prepare financial analyses and reports to support management decision-making.

Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes by gathering, organizing, and analyzing financial and operational data.

  • Collaborate with department leaders to collect assumptions and financial information needed for budgets and forecasts.

  • Assist with cash flow forecasting and ongoing monitoring of financial performance.

  • Update forecasts and supporting schedules as business conditions and assumptions change.

Financial Modeling & Decision Support
  • Develop and maintain financial models, spreadsheets, and analytical reports.

  • Organize financial and operational data to support business cases, planning activities, and management decisions.

  • Analyze historical performance and trends to provide meaningful financial insights.

  • Assist with ad hoc financial analyses and special projects as requested.

Financial Systems & Data Management
  • Maintain and update financial databases, spreadsheets, reporting tools, and supporting schedules.

  • Review financial information for completeness and accuracy.

Accounting & Financial Review Support

Experience
  • 0–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), or a related analytical role.
