A day in the life.

As our Sales Insurance Associate on the MMA Private Client Services National Mid-South Sales team, you'll collaborate with the regional sales teams to provide critical support including quoting, risk reporting, proposals, onboarding, and other projects. You'll assist in the new business process by completing location checks, risk reporting, quoting, proposals, binding, and special projects. Additionally, you'll help the team in the new business process by establishing Applied file, creating binders, identification cards, cancellation forms, new client onboarding, and coordination of new business policy delivery. There will be opportunities to process endorsements, mortgagee/lienholder inquiries, client identification requests, and billing inquiries as well as facilitate day-to-day operation of sales colleagues by updating the team library and carrier directories. You'll also quote coverages via carrier websites, locate carrier specific information, and obtain policy declarations and provide support to your manager/team with event planning, scheduling, and projects as required.

We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to navigate through multiple systems without assistance
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
  • Detail oriented to ensure accuracy
  • Possess self-discipline, self-motivation, and ability to meet assigned objectives
  • Ability to analyze data and interpret appropriate action
  • Ability to work well within established procedures
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix environment
  • Holds appropriate P&C resident and non-resident licenses or ability to obtain after 30-days of hire

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

  • College degree and two years of personal lines insurance experience preferred
  • Previous experience servicing High Net Worth Clientele
  • Proficiency in the daily use of carrier websites for the purposes of quoting, locating carrier specific information, and obtaining policy declarations as needed

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
