Job description

Req ID: 369390
NTT DATA strives to hire exceptional, innovative and passionate individuals who want to grow with us. If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.
We are currently seeking a Speciality Seller IV to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).
Growth and innovation are imperatives for all Banking & Financial Services firms, but relentless compliance, operational and risk pressures can hinder progress. NTT DATA's BFS practices leverage deep industry expertise (Banking & Financial Services Advisory Consulting; Customer Centric Banking; Data & Intelligence; Digital Banking Transformation & Modernization; Digital Technology Consulting and IT & Digital Operations) to provide the insights, solutions, and business outcomes our customers need to succeed across all lines of their enterprise. We work to reduce IT complexity and help integrate business strategy with enabling value-add technologies, solutions, and process optimization to produce targeted business outcomes.
We are looking for a specialist, quota-carrying sales lead to drive growth across Banking and Financial Services (BFS) clients in North America. This role sits at the intersection of AI-driven business transformation, data foundations, modern infrastructure, and regulated industry transformation.
This is not transactional selling. You will act as a trusted advisor and thought leader, helping BFS clients reimagine their future in an AI-disrupted world-shaping vision, defining roadmaps, and guiding large-scale, multi-year transformation programs.
You will be supported by deep NTT DATA SMEs across AI, data, cloud, applications, security, and industry solutions, but you are expected to own the client narrative, connect the dots, and land complex deals.
Responsibilities:
Revenue & Growth Ownership
  • Own a quota-carrying role measured on ACV, TCV
  • Drive new sales in existing accounts and breakthrough new logo and expansion opportunities across North American BFS clients
  • Shape and close large, complex, multi-tower transformation deals

Client Advisory & Thought Leadership
  • Engage senior BFS stakeholders (CIO, CTO, CDO, COO, Chief Risk/Compliance, Business Heads)
  • Lead conversations on:
    • The future of BFS in an AI-driven, highly regulated world
    • AI-led business reimagination (not just AI use cases) and hence pull in the underlying IT services and technologies offerings of NTT Data like - Modern Data services, App modernization, re-imagines BPO services, Transformed Infrastructure, Operating model and business process transformation enabled by AI
  • Position NTT DATA as a strategic transformation partner, not just a technology vendor

AI-Led Transformation Storytelling
  • Articulate a compelling, end-to-end transformation narrative that covers:
    • AI and agentic processes
    • Data foundations (governance, quality, platforms, analytics)
    • Modern cloud and infrastructure
    • Application estate modernization
    • Business process change and operating model impact
  • Clearly explain why data, platforms, and modernization are prerequisites for AI success

Industry & Regulatory Alignment
  • Anchor all transformation discussions in BFS regulatory and compliance realities, including:
    • Data privacy and governance
    • Model risk management
    • Auditability and explainability of AI
    • Security and resilience
  • Help clients understand how AI-led transformation can align with and strengthen regulatory compliance, not conflict with it

Collaboration & Deal Orchestration
  • Work closely with Client executives of Top accounts, with Sales executives for new logos to drive increase in sales in their areas.
  • Leverage and orchestrate SMEs across NTT DATA practices (consulting, AI, data, cloud, apps, security, Data centers, and BFS domain industry solutions SME)
  • Translate deep technical capabilities into business-relevant outcomes
  • Act as the single narrative owner for the client journey

Qualifications:
  • 15-18+ years of experience in enterprise technology or transformation sales, IN BFS space.
    • Proven success selling into Banking & Financial Services clients in North America
    • Experience owning and closing, complex, multi-stakeholder deals
    • Track record of selling consultative, transformation-led engagements (not just point solutions)

BFS & Industry Expertise
  • 8+ years of BFS domains (Banking, Capital Markets, Payments, Lending)
    • Working knowledge of:
    • Regulatory and compliance requirements
    • Risk, governance, and data controls
  • Ability to discuss business, operations, and technology in one integrated conversation

AI, Data & Technology Acumen
  • 8 + years' experience with AI, Data, & Technology. Comfortable discussing:
    • AI/GenAI and agentic architectures
    • Data platforms, governance, analytics, and data foundations
    • Cloud, infrastructure, and application modernization
    • Able to connect technology choices to business and operating model outcomes
    • Not expected to be an architect-but must be credibly fluent

Sales DNA & Mindset
  • 8+ years of Specialist / solution-led sales focused on "value-add" offerings at the intersection of business and technology
    • Loves being seen as a thought partner and advisor
    • Strong storytelling skills-able to stitch a compelling narrative end-to-end
    • Curious, forward-looking, and passionate about how AI will reshape BFS

What Makes This Role Attractive
  • Opportunity to shape AI-led transformation journeys for leading BFS institutions
  • Ability to sell strategic, multi-year programs with real business impact
  • Backed by deep global delivery, platforms, and SMEs
  • High visibility role with influence across industry, clients, and internal leadership
  • Ideal for sellers who want to lead with ideas, not just products

Success in This Role Looks Like
  • Clients see you as a trusted advisor on AI-driven BFS transformation
  • You consistently create new opportunities and take it to qualification and help land complex, high-value deals
  • You elevate conversations from "technology" to business reimagination
  • You inspire confidence in navigating AI, data, regulation, and change-together
