Job description

Labelink is a North American leader in printing solutions and an essential service provider to the packaging industry, offering products such as labels, flexible packaging (pouches), shrink sleeves, and RFID labels. We are also committed to sustainable packaging solutions that support the ecological goals of our clients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish and manage relationships to understand the needs of the customers and to offer Labelink’s product solutions.
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and implement strategies to ensure  objectives are achieved.
  • Manage assigned customers and develop new and existing business with the goal to increase revenue by generating sales from across multiple industries according to action plans.
  • Manages complete sales cycle, from qualifying the leads to closing opportunities.
  • Takes ownership for making decisions, such as pricing, on various elements required to complete requests for quotes.
  • Completes and understands all required information on request for quotes in order to prevent inefficiencies.
  • Plan and organize daily work schedules to call on existing or potential accounts.
  • Understands what is happening in the marketplace so as to leverage competitive information in sales presentations that will better differentiate Labelink.    
  • Participates in customer complaint resolutions by collaborating with operations to ascertain root cause and to contribute to developing solutions.
  • Keeps V.P. Sales informed of activities by submitting activity reports containing updated information of current and potential customers.
  • Learn and be knowledgeable on Labeltraxx software features so as to be able to navigate through the various modules for need-to-know information. 
  • Collaborate with customer service to clearly and completely communicate customers’ expectation and to ensure a mutual exchange of up-to-date information.  
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to build a network of prospects, reach target markets, and to discover and keep up with new innovative technology.

Education & Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years experience in the sales domain in the packaging or printing industry
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation, negotiations, prospecting, selling, cross-selling,  and business development skills
  • The ability to build, manage and maintain client relationships
  • Possesses good business acumen with an ability to design profitable agreements
  • Good decision making, organization and planning skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • The ability to be persistent and persuasive
  • Good knowledge of the industry, material application and Labelink’s product  offering
  • Folded carton boxes packaging in our product line
  • Fluency with Microsoft office
