About The Role

As a Sales Executive, you will partner with higher education institutions to deliver impactful solutions that support nursing education. You will apply a consultative, solution-based sales approach to help customers achieve better learning and clinical outcomes through Elsevier’s portfolio of products including Hesi, Sherpath, Adaptive Quizzing, Simulations and ebooks/books.

The territory serves customers in Virginia and candidates should reside within the territory. This is a field-based position with weekly travel for onsite customer meetings.

Responsibilities
  • Developing sales in assigned territory, including customer service, sales presentations, negotiation and training on both print and digital products
  • Driving successful implementation and adoption of the solution portfolio for the customers in your territory
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to Higher Education and C-suite professionals, providing in-depth product training, support and guidance aligned to the curriculum
  • Creating and delivering compelling presentations on Elsevier’s suite of products and how they can create a robust classroom experience
  • Tracking sales pipeline, leads, and sales cycle using Salesforce.com
Requirements
  • Demonstrate experience with sales in technology, higher education or healthcare/publishing
  • Possess a proven track record of B2B sales success
  • Possess excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrate a track record of successful customer engagement and driving customer adoption
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record (motor vehicle check required)
  • Live within designated territory

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $59,600 - $99,300. Total Target Cash Range: $91,600 - $152,800. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. Pay mix between base and variable pay varies based on sales role; please discuss with the recruiter.
