Job Type: FULL-TIME, with frequent overnight travel expected.

Overview:

Cornerstone Flooring is a privately held company doing business in North America for 33 years. We are experiencing explosive growth – doubling in size over the past 3 years! We are currently searching for a Director of National Accounts to join our family who will develop core business in the food & pharma industries.

We are the largest single-source manufacturer & installer of antimicrobial (resinous) flooring systems in North America

Job Summary:

The Director of National Accounts is a full-time, Technical sales role responsible for expansion with our national account partners to drive revenue growth. You will work closely with clients to understand their evolving needs for antimicrobial flooring and propose tailored solutions. You will also identify opportunities for upselling Cornerstone products and services while ensuring client satisfaction and retention.

This is a Technical Sales role, with specialized knowledge of food & pharma safety in manufacturing. You will focus on impact accounts, as defined by Cornerstone, at the Plant level. We do business across the U.S. and Canada so frequent travel will be necessary for success. Passport is required.

Territory/Location:

  • · Position is based in Indianapolis, IN. Cornerstone HQ is located in Brownsburg, IN (just NW of Indy).
  • · You will be expected to visit clients across the U.S. and Canada, Mon.-Fri. with no restrictions.
  • · Targeted accounts are within the Food & Beverage as well as Pharma Manufacturing industries.

What you will do:

  • · Develop sales strategies to execute existing contracts within establish customer base at the Plant Manufacturing level.
  • · Maintain a pipeline of opportunities to meet and/or exceed sales objectives.
  • · Develop value proposition and competitive advantage for Cornerstone in key accounts across the U.S. & Canada.
  • · Independently make decisions, but also utilize available resources to meet customer needs & work effectively with our cross-functional team (Manufacturing, Operations, Sales and Management).
  • · Communicate any potential problems or customer issues to Cornerstone Management team.
  • · Attend and represent Cornerstone at tradeshow events as needed.

How your success will be measured:

· The Director of National Accounts is tasked to develop business within key established customer accounts. This is measured by account revenue and profitability.

· Your ability to obtain customer meetings and weekly proposals.

Qualifications:

  • · Bachelors degree.
  • · 7+ years of hands-on Technical Sales experience. Ideal candidate will have manufacturing or engineering sales background. Food /Pharma Manufacturing knowledge is a plus.
  • · Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue; project management and/or field sales experience is preferred.
  • · Quick learner with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • · Self motivated, results oriented, sense of urgency and critical thinking.
  • · Strong organizational skills, with ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks/projects.
  • · Financial acumen and analytical capabilities.
  • · Excellent team player.
  • · Clean background and driving record.
  • · Valid, up-to-date U.S. passport.
  • · Ability to take & pass drug screen, background check.
  • · MUST be able to travel Mon-Fri, 2-3 overnights per week.
