About the Role:
The Project Manager - MDU Fiber Delivery is responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of fiber services for Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) projects from post-sale handoff through service activation and closeout. This role is accountable for coordinating cross-functional activities, tracking milestones, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with company quality standards.
This position plays a key role in supporting Uniti's growth in the MDU vertical by driving disciplined execution, improving delivery consistency, and helping create a scalable, repeatable model for fiber deployment. The Project Manager partners closely with Sales, Engineering, Construction, Operations, Service Delivery, contractors, and property stakeholders to support successful customer outcomes.
What You'll Do:
  • Manage assigned MDU fiber delivery projects from sales handoff through activation and project closeout
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and status reporting for active projects
  • Coordinate with MDU Sales, Engineering, Construction, Operations, Service Delivery, and external partners to support execution
  • Track and manage project scope, risks, dependencies, constraints, and action items throughout the delivery lifecycle
  • Ensure project activities remain aligned to committed timelines, approved budgets, and quality expectations
  • Proactively identify and escalate issues that may impact delivery, customer commitments, or activation dates
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication and accountability to remove blockers and maintain project momentum
  • Monitor project progress and maintain accurate documentation of status, milestones, and key decisions
  • Support service readiness and activation planning to ensure successful customer turn-up
  • Partner with contractors, property managers, and other third parties to coordinate access, approvals, and delivery requirements
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying process gaps, recurring issues, and opportunities to improve delivery performance
  • Support reporting on key operational metrics such as on-time delivery, milestone adherence, activation interval, and held order trends

Do You Have?
  • Degree or certification in Business, Operations, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience in project coordination, project management, service delivery, telecommunications, operations, or a related business environment
  • Experience working across teams or functions to coordinate work, manage timelines, and drive execution
  • Working knowledge of project planning, milestone tracking, risk management, and status reporting
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization

  • Experience in fiber delivery, broadband deployment, telecommunications, or field operations.
  • Experience supporting MDU, construction, infrastructure, or service delivery projects.

Minimum Requirements:
College degree and 4-6 years professional level experience with 1-3 years supervisory experience; or 8+ years professional level related experience with 1-3 years supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required
