Job description

Director of Sales – Motor Repair

Fuze HR is partnering with an established manufacturer of industrial and commercial products to hire a Director of Sales to lead its Motor Repair/Aftermarket sales organization.

This is a strategic sales leadership opportunity for someone who understands the industrial market, knows how to lead and develop sales teams, and can build strategies that drive revenue and long-term customer growth.

Location: Fort Wayne, IN or Remote
Job Type: Full-Time, Direct-Hire
Compensation: $150,000 annually
Relocation: Candidates open to relocating to Fort Wayne, IN are encouraged to apply.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Outside Sales team supporting the Motor Repair/Aftermarket business
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow existing business and expand the customer base
  • Help establish revenue targets, market strategies, and sales objectives
  • Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity, and KPIs
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capture them
  • Develop and manage key account and vendor strategies
  • Establish performance expectations for direct reports and track results
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors
  • Support the sales team with customer escalations and complex business needs
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support overall business and growth objectives
What We’re Looking For
  • 7–10 years of sales and/or marketing leadership experience
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
  • Motor repair sales experience strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in an industrial, electrical, manufacturing, or related environment
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop sales professionals
  • Strong business development and strategic planning skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to analyze sales data and use KPIs to drive performance
  • Strong customer and vendor relationship management skills
  • Collaborative, flexible, and results-oriented approach
