Job description

What we are building at Conveo

Conveo is the AI research platform enabling fast, affordable, and high-quality consumer / B2B research. Global brands like Unilever, Google, and Orange use our AI video interviewer to generate insights across marketing and product teams.

#1 What problem are we solving, and why is this an important problem to solve

The current/traditional research methods companies rely on are slow, expensive, and superficial. Running great research also requires expertise, which is a blocker to many companies. That directly affects how well companies understand their customers and how well they can serve them.

#2 The team you will join

You will join an extremely talented team of incredibly passionate, high-energy people. We go the extra mile while having the best time of our lives. Our team has the combination of decades of market research knowledge, incredible engineering ability, and experience building companies.

#3 How we operate
  • We truly care about our clients and the problem we solve. That means we humbly go the extra mile every time.

  • We work hard, and we have fun.

  • To keep our quality bar incredibly high, we want to execute with the smallest possible team.

The Role

As a Sales Director at Conveo, you’ll take full ownership of the sales cycle — from building pipeline to closing enterprise deals and expanding accounts. You’ll partner directly with the founders to refine our go-to-market strategy while landing and growing some of the world’s biggest brands. This is a high-impact role where you’ll navigate complex orgs, multi-stakeholder deals, and long sales cycles ($45K-$500K+), selling into industries like CPG, Pharma, Tech, and Financial Services.

Your Mission

1. Create Demand & Build Pipeline

  • Own a defined ICP and territory plan, executing multi-threaded outreach (email, LinkedIn, calls).

  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads with crisp discovery and problem framing.

  • Build and maintain 4–5× pipeline coverage to hit and exceed quota.

2. Win Deals & Expand Accounts

  • Lead consultative discovery and run tailored demos tied to customer workflows and KPIs.

  • Navigate complex buying committees (economic buyer, users, procurement, legal) and manage deal timelines.

  • Negotiate and close clean, scalable contracts; expand initial wins into multi-market, multi-year agreements.

3. Be the Market & Product Expert

  • Translate customer pain points into compelling ROI cases.

  • Stay on top of competitor moves and market trends to sharpen messaging and objection handling.

  • Capture customer success stories and proof points that strengthen Conveo’s market narrative.

4. Partner with Founders & Marketing

  • Provide structured product feedback to shape roadmap priorities.

  • Collaborate on campaigns, content, and sequences to boost funnel conversion.

  • Maintain crisp CRM hygiene and accurate forecasting.

What Success Looks Like
  • Qualified pipeline coverage (≥4–5× quota), stage velocity, and win-rate improvements.

  • Strong win rates (high stage-to-stage conversion, clean qualification/disqualification, and rising expansion (multi-market/multi-year, increased ACV & ARR ).

  • Referencable customers and repeatable plays we can roll out across the team.

What we’re looking for
  • 5–15 years of enterprise sales in SaaS, Martech, or Market Research.

  • Track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals (ACV $75K+) with long sales cycles.

  • Experience selling to Fortune 500 companies.

  • Great if you have a strong network or background in market research, insights, or consulting.

  • High energy, self-motivation, and a relentless drive to win.

  • Excellent communication skills — active listener, persuasive storyteller, and trusted advisor.

  • Comfortable with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce) and multi-channel outreach.

  • Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, low-politics, high-standards environment.

Why join us

At Conveo, you’ll join a team that genuinely enjoys working and spending time together. We care about building real relationships, not just great products. That’s why we run quarterly team off-sites where we disconnect, reset, and have fun. Our next one is a retreat in the Alps this March.

Plus
  • Own attention for a hyper-growth, YC-backed AI company.

  • Direct access to founders and high-leverage operators.

  • Help define how AI-powered research becomes the global default.

  • Competitive compensation with meaningful equity upside.

  • A culture built on taste, speed, ownership, and ambition.

  • Opportunities to travel globally and build real relationships with customers shaping the future.
