Position Title: National Screw Compressor Repair Sales Representative
Location: Remote, United States
Territory: Nationwide
Travel: Approximately 30%–50%
Position Summary
DISCO is seeking a National Screw Compressor Repair Sales Representative to drive screw compressor rebuild revenue across the United States. This role is responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing relationships with customers, quoting repair work, and coordinating closely with DISCO’s shop team to help ensure jobs are delivered on time and to customer expectations.
This is a remote, nationwide sales role focused primarily on natural gas screw compressors. The right candidate will be a self-starter who understands screw compressors, has prior sales experience, and can operate independently without needing constant oversight.

DISCO has been serving customers since 1968 and has been repairing screw compressors since the 1990s. We perform all rebuild work in-house, including machine work, which gives our customers a high level of quality, control, and technical capability. Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and generate new business opportunities for screw compressor repair services across the United States
  • Develop relationships with key decision-makers, including maintenance managers, reliability managers, compression superintendents, fleet managers, branch managers, service contacts, and other industry stakeholders
  • Conduct cold outreach, customer visits, and follow-up activity to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
  • Prepare quotes for repair opportunities and communicate clearly with customers throughout the sales process
  • Manage opportunities from initial contact through job completion
  • Coordinate with DISCO shop managers and internal teams to help ensure repair jobs are executed and delivered on time
  • Serve as a trusted, technically credible point of contact for customers needing screw compressor repair solutions
  • Maintain organized records of activity, opportunities, and customer communication
  • Represent DISCO professionally in the market and help expand national awareness of the company’s screw compressor capabilities
Qualifications
  • Direct experience with screw compressors is required, either through:
    • working on them,
    • servicing them, or
    • selling them
  • Prior sales experience required
  • Strong technical credibility and working knowledge of screw compressors, especially in natural gas compression
  • Ability to work independently and succeed in a remote sales environment
  • Strong self-management skills with little need for micromanagement
  • Strong communication, organizational, and follow-through skills
  • Ability to manage both new business development and customer coordination throughout the repair process
