Sales Development Representative


Location: Nighthawk Corporate Office in Owensboro, KY


Summary:

Nighthawk Security Company is looking for a full-time Sales Development Representative to join our team and support the business sales and expansion functions at our corporate office. Nighthawk is only considering applicants who are seeking long-term employment opportunities and who have meaningful sales experience to fill this role.


Qualification Requirements:

  • Education: Preference for four-year college bachelor’s degree, but high school diploma or equivalent would still be considered.
  • Experience: EXPERIENCE IN SALES IS REQUIRED. Candidates without meaningful prior sales experience will not be considered. Preference for sales experience that can quickly translate into successful performance in a sales development role.
  • Communication: Must be able to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken), including, a clear and professional speaking voice and ability to write effective sales emails and campaigns.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to spend majority of workday on the telephone/computer at a desk and carry or lift moderate loads.
  • Miscellaneous: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) is required. Working knowledge of any CRM software or AI-based sales software is preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable means to commute to in-office work (remote work is not permitted).


Major Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Conduct outbound and inbound sales functions and persuasively present our services to potential clients.
  • Conduct a high number of telephone calls and emails each day to identify and further network with leads.
  • Maintain and update CRM entries with accurate, timely record-keeping.
  • Speak with prospective clients about our business services.
  • Travel to client sites for sales meetings when needed.

Training: Hired applicant will undergo paid training at our corporate office. Training usually takes one (1) week to complete and consists of becoming acquainted with our service, programs, and sales processes.


Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:00AM – 3:00PM CST at Nighthawk’s Corporate Office located in Owensboro, KY. Remote work is not permitted.


Background Investigation: Must pass a background investigation to the extent permitted by applicable federal, state, and local laws. Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law (including no THC), consistent with Company policy or requirements.


Application Process: Applicants for this position will be required to answer their phone to conduct a brief phone introduction/interview. Qualified applicants will then conduct a separate phone interview with one of our Operations Managers to further discuss the position. If it is determined that the role is a good fit, the applicant will be scheduled for an in‐person interview at Nighthawk’s corporate office.
