A sales audit is a systematic review and evaluation of a company's sales processes, transactions, and related financial records. Its main goal is to ensure accuracy, compliance with internal policies, and adherence to external regulations. The audit examines sales records, invoices, receipts, and other documentation to identify discrepancies, prevent fraud, and improve overall sales performance. It also helps organizations optimize their sales strategies by highlighting inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
