The Sales Engineer serves as the technical and customer-focused bridge between our clients, sales team, and manufacturing operations. This role combines engineering knowledge with relationship-building and consultative sales skills to deliver customized manufacturing solutions that meet customer needs and drive company growth.

The ideal candidate is both technically minded and customer-oriented, capable of understanding manufacturing processes, communicating product capabilities, and helping customers identify the best solutions for their operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Sales & Customer Solutions
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within manufacturing and industrial markets
  • Partner with customers to understand operational challenges and recommend customized product or manufacturing solutions
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with clients
  • Assist customers with specifications, product selection, and implementation strategies

  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales process
  • Provide responsive communication and support before, during, and after project completion

  • Work closely with engineering, production, logistics, customer service, and other internal teams to ensure customer expectations are met

  • Assist in reviewing technical drawings, product specifications, and project requirements

  • Prepare detailed quotes, proposals, and cost estimates

Requirements:

Qualifications

Education

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred
  • Equivalent industry experience will also be considered

Experience

  • Previous experience in technical sales, manufacturing, engineering support, industrial equipment, or related industries preferred
  • Experience working directly with customers in a manufacturing environment is a plus

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and technical problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
