Commercial Construction Project Manager - Building Envelope - Base Salary to 80k/year - Marietta, GA

  • Our client is a well-established commercial glass and glazing contractor serving the Metro Atlanta market. They are seeking a Commercial Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects while coordinating with customers, vendors, field personnel, and subcontractors to deliver successful projects from kickoff through completion.
  • This position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial construction Project Manager with experience in glazing or a related specialty trade such as drywall, millwork, storefront systems, doors and hardware, or other architectural building products who is looking to expand their career in the commercial glazing industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned commercial construction projects from project kickoff through final completion.
  • Coordinate project schedules, procurement activities, field operations, and subcontractors to ensure successful execution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, general contractors, architects, vendors, and field personnel throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Track project costs, budgets, change orders, and schedules while providing regular project updates.
  • Coordinate material deliveries and communicate with vendors and field personnel to support project timelines.
  • Collaborate with Assistant Project Managers and field personnel to support successful project execution
  • Resolve project issues quickly while maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Maintain complete project documentation and ensure timely communication throughout all phases of construction.
  • Travel to project sites as needed to monitor progress and support field operations.
  • Manage commercial glazing projects while working closely with experienced senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of project management experience within commercial construction.
  • Experience managing projects involving commercial glazing or related specialty construction trades such as drywall, millwork, storefront systems, doors and hardware, exterior building envelope, or architectural products.
  • Experience managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and change orders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience using AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture is welcomed; equivalent commercial construction project management experience is equally valued.
  • Ability to travel to active commercial construction job sites.
  • Ability to walk active jobsites, climb ladders, and navigate varying terrain.
  • Ability to work outdoors during site visits in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Compensation:
