Job description

A well-established, physician-owned Emergency Medicine group in West Georgia, located ~50 miles west of Atlanta, is seeking a BC/BE Emergency Medicine physician to join its team.


Position Highlights:

  • Join a 24-physician private practice Emergency Medicine group
  • 100% physician-owned democratic group
  • Partnership opportunity after two years
  • Work across two busy Level II Trauma Centers
  • 40-bed Emergency Department and 36-bed Emergency Department
  • Combined annual emergency volumes exceeding 100,000 visits
  • Schedule: 16 eight-hour shifts per month
    • Current schedule includes primarily day shifts with limited nights
  • Dedicated nocturnist team provides additional overnight coverage
  • APP support with experienced NP/PA team
  • All current physicians are Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine


Compensation/Benefits:

  • $325K salary in Year 1
  • $350K salary in Year 2
  • Partnership beginning Year 3 with average physician income of ~$450K
  • $50K sign-on bonus
  • $50K starting incentive
  • Relocation assistance up to $14K
  • Group-paid benefits
  • Group-paid malpractice insurance


Qualifications:

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
  • Emergency Medicine residency trained required
  • Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered emergency care
