You will be participating in virtual team meetings, training, and supervision sessions designed to enhance your clinical skills and foster a sense of community within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clientsโ€™ mental health needs, ensuring that each evaluation is thorough and informs effective treatment planning.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalitiesโ€”such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed careโ€”to provide individualized therapy sessions tailored to the unique circumstances of each client.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to set therapeutic goals, regularly monitoring and adjusting treatment plans as needed based on their progress and evolving needs.
  • Facilitate teletherapy sessions, utilizing our secure telehealth platform to provide clients with accessible and convenient therapy options.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes to comply with ethical and regulatory standards.
  • Engage actively in ongoing professional development through training and workshops to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in psychotherapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will work with come from diverse backgrounds, including those in crisis, individuals dealing with chronic mental health issues, and patients in need of substance use disorder support. As we operate within a Detox Center, your role will be particularly impactful as you support clients navigating recovery and mental health challenges, providing essential tools and strategies for coping and resilience.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree or higher in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Active and valid Licensure as a Social Worker in the state of California.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health or social work setting, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic practices.
  • Free of any disciplinary actions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, exhibiting empathy and a compassionate nature in all client interactions.
  • Knowledgeable about current trends and best practices in psychotherapy and mental health treatment.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with clients in a telehealth setting or familiarity with teletherapy tools and practices.
  • Background in substance use treatment, particularly in Detox or recovery settings.
  • Previous work in crisis intervention or suicide prevention programs.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 120,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload. Rising Perspective Counseling offers a robust benefits package that includes:

  • Comprehensive health insurance coverage, including medical, dental, and vision plans.
  • Professional liability insurance to protect your practice.
  • A generous paid time off policy, including vacation, sick days, and holidays.
