Work Environment

This position is based onsite in a home care setting, allowing therapists to provide hands-on treatment in a comfortable environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients with orthopedic concerns to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Employ efficient manual therapy techniques and modalities that adhere to current best practices in physical therapy.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans based on individual needs, medical history, and therapy progress.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and treatments, empowering them to take an active role in their rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, progress, and responses to treatment in alignment with healthcare regulations.
• Manage time effectively to balance patient scheduling and administrative responsibilities within an 8-hour shift.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on outpatient orthopedic patients, including individuals recovering from surgery, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. We believe in providing empathy-driven care that recognizes each patient's journey, tailoring our approaches to meet their unique needs. Additionally, our reputation for pelvic floor rehabilitation allows us to cater to a wider demographic of patients requiring specialized therapy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field (required).
• Active Physical Therapy License in California (mandatory).
• CPR Certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• Proven experience in manual therapy techniques and orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience working in an outpatient clinic or private practice setting.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation requirements.
• Certification in Pelvic Floor rehabilitation is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

Rising Sun Physical Therapy values the expertise of its team members and offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 – $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include:
