Responsibilities
  • Oversee the sales operations of the Accutech Instrumentation and Instrument Specialties sales team, managing all aspects of the sales process, sales budgets, and sales team members to deliver revenue and profit commitments.
  • Work in concert with the General Manager, executing operating strategies and achieving company goals and objectives.
  • Develop and optimize business practices to improve operational performance, customer value propositions, and ensure safe performance of Team Technical Services.
  • Supervise and manage the sales team, delivering the highest levels of customer service while ensuring all company policies are followed.
  • Manage supplier relationships with key suppliers for Accutech Instrumentation, Instrument Specialties, and the Florida business.
  • Manage existing key customers and develop new business in a defined sales territory.
  • Set goals for sales team members, clearly communicate expectations, and monitor performance.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and unlock sales and profit opportunities.
  • Identify business obstacles and craft solutions that effectively address roadblocks and problems.
  • Develop employees' capabilities through challenging assignments and coaching.
  • Utilize data to develop trends and insights that will drive continuous improvement.

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to build successful teams
  • Proven business development capabilities selling technical solutions to an Industrial and Power Generation customer base
  • Superior client relationship management skills
  • Excellent decision-making and creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, perform under pressure, and resolve conflicts
  • Strong Mechanical aptitude
  • Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Salesforce or other CRM program knowledge and proficiency, ability to generate an individual sales pipeline
  • Ability to perform first-order analysis of business performance

Supervisory Responsibility
  • This position directly supervises outside and sale associates.

Required Education and Experience
  • 5+ years' proven experience in sales management focused on engineered solutions and services.
  • 5+ years' selling engineered products and solutions in Industrial and Municipal markets
  • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering is desirable
