Description

Avatar Computing is seeking a SailPoint Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Army's Enterprise Application/System Modernization and Migration (EAMM) program. As the senior technical authority on SailPoint technologies, you will provide expert-level guidance on the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise identity governance and administration (IGA) solutions. You will serve as a go‑to resource for complex technical challenges, mentor junior team members, and ensure that SailPoint implementations align with best practices and government security requirements.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide expert-level technical leadership on SailPoint IdentityIQ architecture and implementation

  • Guide the design and development of complex identity governance workflows, policies, and integrations

  • Advise on enterprise-scale IGA strategy, including application onboarding and access certification

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across SailPoint environments

  • Ensure solutions comply with DoD security standards and regulatory requirements

  • Mentor and support development teams on SailPoint best practices

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, security, compliance, and government stakeholders


Qualifications

  • US Citizen (No Dual Citizens)

  • Active Secret Clearance Required

  • Security+ or equivalent certification

  • At least 10 years of experience designing and implementing IAM solutions

  • At least 4 years of experience implementing enterprise IGA solutions such as SailPoint Identity IQ (IIQ) or IdentityNow, Saviynt Security Manager (SSM) or Enterprise Identity Cloud (EIC), or IBM Security Verify Governance

  • Experience with the Java programming language

  • Deep expertise in SailPoint IdentityIQ platform architecture and configuration

  • Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, RBAC, and compliance frameworks
