Description Lake Forest Sailing is hiring instructors and coaches for Summer 2026. Located in Lake Forest, IL on the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan, our program has a strong record of success - developing young, passionate sailors as well as skilled competitors through our dedicated Race Team. We offer a dynamic, community-centered environment with opportunities to work across all levels.

Examples of Duties We're seeking enthusiastic, knowledgeable educators who are passionate about sailing, mentoring youth, and creating a positive, memorable summer experience. Whether you're leading fun introductory lessons or coaching competitive sailors at practices and regattas, you'll be part of a supportive team that values growth, safety, sportsmanship, and fun. At Lake Forest Sailing, coaches serve as role models who help young sailors build confidence on the water, learn responsibility, and fall in love with the sport.

Classes: Opti, Pram, Keelboat, 420 Qualifications We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria: US Sailing Level 1 certification (Required). Proven experience teaching youth sailing. High school or college racing experience.

A friendly, patient, and energetic personality with excellent communication skills.
