Job description

Motive Workforce is partnering with a growing precision manufacturing company serving the medical device and high-tech industries to hire a Customer Experience Specialist.


This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building customer relationships while managing multiple orders from quote through shipment. You'll work closely with sales, operations, and customers to keep projects moving, resolve issues, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. As the company continues expanding across North America and international markets, you'll play an important role in supporting a fast-paced, collaborative team. 

Responsibilities
  • Prepare quotes and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Coordinate orders from quote through shipment, keeping customers informed throughout the process.
  • Manage multiple customer orders with strong attention to detail and changing priorities.
  • Communicate inventory availability, lead times, shipment schedules, and order updates.
  • Work with internal teams to coordinate value-added services and ensure orders stay on schedule.
  • Answer customer questions regarding products, specifications, inventory, and available services.
  • Maintain accurate CRM and ERP records, including customer communications and order documentation.
  • Build long-term relationships through responsive, professional customer support.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, sales support, inside sales, customer operations, or order management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience processing quotes, purchase orders, and customer orders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • ERP experience required. Sage experience is a plus.
  • CRM experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience supporting B2B customers in manufacturing, industrial distribution, medical device, or similar industries is strongly preferred.
