Safety Supervisor


Responsibilities:

  • Investigate industrial accidents, injuries, or occupational diseases to determine causes and preventive measures
  • Maintain and apply knowledge of current policies, regulations, and industrial processes
  • Conduct or coordinate worker training in areas such as safety laws and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment
  • Compile, analyze, and interpret statistical data related to occupational illnesses and accidents
  • All other duties assigned by the Safety and Health Manager

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing setting
  • 1+ years’ experience in management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Bilingual important, but not mandatory
  • Bachelor Degree in a related field preferred
  • Work in a fast pace environment where beef are processed
  • Able to work at least 50+ hours a week

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
  • Paid Time off: sick leave, vacation and 6 company observed holidays;
  • 401(k): eligible after the 1st day of employment including company match which begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule
  • Base salary range of $66,940 – $84,000
  • This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan; the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
