Established Construction Management firm seeking highly motivated and experienced Construction Safety Professional to join the Safety Team.
Essential Job Duties:
  • Work within the Safety Team to provide oversight of contractor safety program
  • Conduct audits of contractor safety programs & field activities as directed
  • Provide reports, as directed, on the contractor's safety performance
  • Report, within the Safety Team, on project safety activities and performance
  • Attend regular safety meetings
  • Work with the Safety Team to provide training as needed
  • Respond to accidents/incidents on the project as directed

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a full time Heavy/Civil construction managment role
  • Minimum of C.H.S.T. or equivalent certification. ASP, CSP or degree in safety desired (or be able to obtain in within 6 months)
  • Experience on large transportation projects including design-build programs
  • Experience on Rail (Heavy/Light), Bridges, Roads, Utility Relocation, and similar construction
  • OSHA 30 Hour certification
  • OSHA 500 Trainer Certification preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills including use of Information Management Systems
