Hutch Paving is currently seeking a Safety Manager to lead and support our safety program across multiple construction job sites. This role focuses on jobsite safety, incident investigations, employee training, and maintaining OSHA/MIOSHA compliance.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who can work closely with field crews, supervisors, and leadership to maintain a strong safety culture.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate jobsite incidents and determine root causes
- Conduct random jobsite safety inspections and correct hazards
- Maintain OSHA/MIOSHA safety compliance and documentation
- Lead safety training, new hire orientation, and weekly toolbox talks
- Track safety metrics, incidents, and training records
