Job description

Driver Development Safety Coordinator


Universal Logistics Holdings is a full-service provider of customized transportation and logistics solutions. For over 90 years, we have provided complete services including dry van and specialized transportation, intermodal drayage, material handling and value-added services, and global trade management.


This position is full time, onsite Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm


Requirements:

  • Excellent attendance and the ability to work the same shift each day
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn company specific systems
  • Prior office experience is preferred
  • Superior communication skills including listening, speaking, reading, writing
  • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times
  • Upbeat personality/positive outlook
  • High school diploma required, secondary education preferred


Responsibilities-

  • Communicate and coordinate with terminals to ensure timely placement of new drivers
  • Collect, organize, track, file and review program paperwork
  • Organize and present ppw for graduation
  • Evaluate driver logs and ELD-quick review
  • Track/Submit mentor pay
  • Additional duties as required
