Job description

Crenlo has an exciting opportunity with in our Human Resources Group. We are looking for an Environmental, Health and Safety Coordinator to assist the EHS Manager with tasks related to Environmental, Health and Safety in the workplace as well as administrative needs for recordkeeping, audits, permits as well as training personnel. Help to create an environment and culture that promotes safety and a "Culture of Zero". You must be a result driven individual with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, attention to detail, able to influence across the organization and desire to make a difference. This position will be based in Rochester, MN and report directly to the EH&S Manager.

Salary Compensation:The compensation range for this position is $62,058 - $86,882annually.

In This Position You Will:

  • Train and /or coordinate EH&S required trainings for all employees.
  • Perform incident investigations and lead teams to find the root cause along with corrective actions.
  • Assist in conducting JSA's and working on improvements.
  • Assist in conducting Risk Assessments and working on improvements.
  • Assist with and participate in site safety, ergonomic or other EHS meetings at all levels.
  • Assist in review, maintaining and writing EHS: procedures, work instructions and maps.
  • Maintain EH&S records in an organized manor.
  • Perform internal audits for ISO 9001.
  • Assist with annual Objectives including: Safety, Environmental and Cost Savings.
  • Perform LPA's (Layered Process Audits) for Safety, Environmental, Lockout, Machine Guarding, etc.
  • Perform all work in a confidential manner as needed.
  • Work closely with the maintenance Department and Engineering to understand those job junctions as related to EH&S and to ensure safety and environmental compliance.
  • Hold and lead Kaizen events for EHS improvements.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.

Basic Qualifications: (required)

  • An overall good knowledge of EH&S, OSHA, MPCA, EPA and company requirements is essential.
  • Overall knowledge of ISO14001-2015 and OHSAS 45001.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate and interact effectively both verbal and written with all levels of personnel.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work load.
  • Use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Databases, Draft Site (CAD drawings).

Preferred Qualifications: (desired)

  • 5 years' experience in EHS or manufacturing supervisory role or combination of is preferred but not required.
  • Associates degree or higher in a EH&S related field preferred but not required.
