Construction Safety Associate- New Albany, OH

About the Role:

Environmental and Safety Solutions, Inc. (ESS) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Safety Associate. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing safety practices in accordance with OSHA regulations and client standards.

We are looking for a self-directed, detail-oriented safety professional with excellent communication and computer skills who thrives in a fast-paced, compliance-driven construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary EHS representative for the project, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and contract requirements.

  • Support the project management team with on-site safety inspections, reporting, and training coordination.

  • Conduct and document daily safety inspections of the job site.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety logs, incident reports, and OSHA recordkeeping (including injury/illness logs).

  • Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions.

  • Collaborate closely with facility management and subcontractors to ensure alignment with EHS standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be bilingual (English and Spanish)

  • 3-5 years of continuous experience in construction safety experience

  • OSHA 510 preferred

  • Current First Aid/CPR certification.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and digital safety platforms.

  • Must be able to work independently and manage site safety with minimal supervision.

  • U.S. Citizenship required
