We are looking for a reliable, vigilant, and welcoming individual who thrives in a busy environment. If you are someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe environment and enjoys being the 'go-to' person for parents and staff, this is the role for you.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Site Security & Access Control: Serve as the primary "gatekeeper" for the facility. You will operate the secure entrance system, verify visitor identification, and ensure all District safety protocols are strictly followed during out-of-school hours.
  • Student Accountability & Transitions: Manage the daily sign-in/sign-out process. You will maintain accurate attendance records and coordinate the safe transfer of students to parents or authorized guardians.
  • Front-Line Communication: Act as the first point of contact for the public. Responsibilities include greeting families with a welcoming presence, answering multi-line phones, and accurately recording or transferring vital information to staff.
  • Operational Support: Monitor the building to maintain a safe and organized environment. You will assist with site setup/cleanup and ensure that all program areas are ready for student use.
  • Program Assistance: Provide secondary support to instructors by helping supervise students and assisting with classroom tasks to ensure a positive and engaging learning environment.

Qualifications Required:
  • Must be at least 15 years of age.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Reliable transportation to the assigned work site.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience with secure access systems or front-desk operations.
  • Experience in safety-conscious environments.
  • Experience interacting with diverse groups of children, adults, and families.

Rate of Pay: $11.40 -$15.00 per hour
