These competencies ensure the successful coordination of Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and the timely, high-quality delivery of complex software solutions.

What is a Safe Release Train Engineer?

A SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) is a leadership role in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) responsible for facilitating Agile Release Train (ART) processes and execution. They ensure that Agile teams work collaboratively to achieve business goals, remove impediments, and foster continuous improvement. The RTE works closely with Product Management, System Architects, and other stakeholders to align strategies and maintain ART efficiency.
