Position Overview:

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for training, supervising, and retaining a team of housekeeping associates while ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Leading with The TSC Way! this role fosters a positive work environment where employees feel supported and motivated to succeed. The Supervisor provides coaching and feedback to drive continuous improvement, maintains a safe and efficient operation, and partners with management to identify opportunities that enhance both team performance and guest satisfaction.

  • Supervise, train, and support housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are cleaned on each shift by assigned employees
  • Inspects guest rooms to ensure quality standards are met
  • Assists cleaning rooms when needed
  • Publicly recognizes and rewards employees. Makes termination recommendations
  • Assists with the scheduling of employees
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and constructive feedback to team members, promoting professional growth and accountability
  • Partner with hotel operations and management to address guest needs, resolve service issues, and enhance overall guest satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, sanitation requirements, and company policies to maintain a safe and productive workplace
  • Uphold The TSC Way! values by acting as a role model of professionalism, teamwork, and excellence in every interaction

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Must meet company and clients appearance standards
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs of weight on a consistent basis
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, climb stairs, and perform other routine physical activities
  • Good verbal communication skills; pleasant and professional demeanor
  • Ability to work with cleaning equipment and chemicals safely
  • Ability to perform all duties as required with or without accommodation
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Ability to motivate and respect hourly employees
  • High School education or GED
  • One year prior housekeeping, cleaning or customer service supervisory experience
  • Bilingual English Spanish preferred
  • Knowledge of e-mail, MS-Word
