Job description

Responsibilities Sabre is seeking an System Security Engineer (Anti-Tamper) to support our Cyber Warfare Department at Patuxent River Naval Air Station located in Lexington Park, MD. This position is required to be onsite and be responsible for but not limited for s upporting Anti-Tamper (AT) Program Lead, Program Managers, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Systems Engineers in identifying Critical Program Information (CPI), developing and implementing AT Plans, validating and sustaining CPI protection, implementing and managing Anti-Tamper (AT) solutions for supported programs, and assessing performance to plan and technical risk. This position requires close engagement across program office stakeholders and external coordination with the Anti-Tamper Executive Agent (ATEA). Duties will include but are not limited to: * Performing security analyses, program reviews, and verification and validation (V&V) test planning and event coordination.
* Identifying program CPI and providing subsequent support for developing, implementing, verifying and validating (V&V) AT requirement implementation for supported programs.
* Assisting the U.S. Navy in working with Industry on the deployment of special technologies for the protection of critical technology in its systems deployed around the globe.
* Providing analysis and document preparation in support of Government statutes and applicable export restrictions governing domestic and Foreign Military Sales. * Collecting, organizing, interpreting, and analyzing technical data relating AT solutions for weapons system acquisition projects.
* Conducting AT studies, including trade studies, research areas, and detailed analysis of system design to include microelectronic implementation and software implementation, system integration, V&V, cost, and risk.
* Preparing and presenting briefings to internal and external programs and customers such as Tri-Service Committee, Red Team, ATEA, and V&V team to obtain AT approvals for US-deployed and exported military systems Qualifications Requirements: * BS in a relevant Engineering /Science field. * Three (3) years or more of experience in a relevant Engineering /Science field. * Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test or evaluate military weapons systems. * Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. * Applies engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management. * Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher * Must be a U.S. Citizen Desired Qualifications: * Knowledge and capability in detailed development of anti-tamper capabilities. * Demonstrated ability to lead technical efforts associated with all program phases of product development. * Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic multiple security environment. * Experience with NAVAIR Acquisition Programs. * Experience with Microsoft office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project. * Experience with DoD Risk and Opportunity management process. #LI-CS3 Compensation Statement At Sabre Systems, LLC, compensation is based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, and contract-specific requirements; however, final compensation will be determined by individual qualifications and applicable contract terms.
