Koniag IT Systems, LLC a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a SaaS Platform Administrator to support KITS and our government customer Washington, DC. The position is hybrid, requires 2 days onsite. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust.

We offer competitive compensation and an extraordinary benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, 401K with company matching, flexible spending accounts, paid holidays, three weeks paid time off, and more.

The SaaS Platform Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, operations, and sustainment of CLIENT's portfolio of Software-as-a-Service platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, and subscription-based enterprise applications. This individual serves as the dedicated technical administrator for CLIENT's SaaS platform portfolio, ensuring that SaaS applications are properly configured, securely administered, reliably available, and aligned with CLIENT's security, compliance, and data governance requirements.

This role is focused specifically on SaaS platform administration and operations — the technical discipline of managing cloud-based application platforms, administering user access and licensing, maintaining security configurations, coordinating vendor relationships, and ensuring that SaaS platforms integrate effectively with CLIENT's enterprise identity and security infrastructure. The SaaS Platform Administrator works across a broad portfolio of SaaS applications, bringing consistent administrative discipline, security awareness, and operational rigor to every platform in CLIENT's SaaS environment.

This individual must demonstrate solid technical proficiency across SaaS platform administration, enterprise identity integration, license management, and Federal SaaS security requirements, with the ability to independently manage routine and moderately complex SaaS administration tasks and elevate complex issues to the Senior Application Operations Engineer or Applications & Integration Lead as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities: SaaS Platform Administration & Operations:
  • Administer and maintain CLIENT's portfolio of SaaS platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, and subscription-based enterprise applications
  • Manage SaaS platform configurations, including security settings, feature enablement, integration configurations, and platform governance controls
  • Monitor SaaS platform health, performance, and availability using vendor-provided dashboards and Government monitoring tools, escalating issues as appropriate
  • Execute routine and moderately complex SaaS platform configuration changes in accordance with ITIL 4 change management practices
  • Coordinate with SaaS vendors on support cases, platform updates, service issues, and escalations
  • Maintain accurate and current SaaS platform documentation, including configuration records, integration settings, and operational procedures
  • Support SaaS platform onboarding and offboarding activities, including technical configuration, integration setup, and decommissioning
SaaS Security Configuration & Compliance:
  • Administer and maintain SaaS platform security configurations aligned with FISMA, NIST SP 800-53, FedRAMP, and CLIENT cybersecurity policies
  • Configure and maintain SaaS platform security controls, including multi-factor authentication enforcement, conditional access integration, data loss prevention settings, and audit logging
  • Ensure SaaS platforms are configured in accordance with FedRAMP authorization boundaries and CLIENT data governance requirements
  • Support Zero Trust Architecture implementation across SaaS platforms in coordination with the Microsoft Infrastructure and Network teams
  • Apply least-privilege and separation-of-duties principles to all SaaS platform access configurations and administrative roles
  • Conduct periodic SaaS platform security configuration reviews and remediate findings in coordination with the Senior Application Operations Engineer
  • Maintain accurate SaaS platform security configuration documentation and audit evidence records
SaaS Identity Integration & SSO Administration:
  • Administer and maintain single sign-on (SSO) configurations for CLIENT's SaaS platform portfolio, including SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect integrations with Microsoft Entra and Okta
  • Coordinate with the Microsoft Infrastructure Administrator (Senior) on Entra enterprise application registrations, conditional access policies, and automated provisioning configurations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SSO and identity federation issues for SaaS platforms, escalating complex issues to the Senior Application Operations Engineer as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate SSO configuration documentation, including application registration records, SAML metadata, and integration settings
  • Support implementation of automated user provisioning and deprovisioning (SCIM) integrations for SaaS platforms
  • Coordinate with SaaS vendors on identity integration requirements, updates, and troubleshooting
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for SaaS vendor support cases and service escalations
  • Coordinate with SaaS vendors on platform updates, feature releases, security patches, and maintenance windows
  • Review vendor release notes and platform update documentation, assessing impact to CLIENT's SaaS configurations and communicating relevant changes to the Applications & Integration Lead
  • Support SaaS contract renewal activities by providing accurate utilization data, license counts, and technical assessment information to the Asset / Financial Management team
  • Maintain accurate vendor contact records, support case logs, and vendor communication documentation
  • Coordinate vendor-required configuration changes and platform migrations in accordance with ITIL 4 change management practices
SaaS Data Governance & Compliance:
  • Ensure SaaS platform data governance configurations align with CLIENT data classification, handling, and retention requirements
  • Configure and maintain data loss prevention (DLP) policies, data retention settings, and export controls for SaaS platforms as applicable
  • Support implementation of SaaS platform audit logging and monitoring configurations that meet FISMA and CLIENT audit requirements
  • Coordinate with the Microsoft Infrastructure team on Microsoft Purview integration for SaaS platform data governance
  • Maintain accurate SaaS platform data governance documentation, including retention policies, DLP configurations, and audit log records
  • Support eDiscovery and data retrieval requests involving SaaS platform data in coordination with the Applications & Integration Lead and Government stakeholders
  • Monitor SaaS platform health, availability, and performance using vendor dashboards, Government monitoring tools, and integrated alerting
  • Detect and triage SaaS platform incidents, executing initial resolution steps for routine issues and escalating complex incidents to the Senior Application Operations Engineer or Applications & Integration Lead
  • Manage SaaS platform incident records in the Government ITSM platform, ensuring accurate, complete, and timely documentation
  • Coordinate with SaaS vendors on active platform incidents, service outages, and degraded performance events
  • Develop and maintain SaaS platform incident response runbooks and escalation procedures
