Join Our Team as a Registered Veterinary Technician
Central Veterinary Hospital in Fremont, CA is seeking skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVT) to join our well-established general practice. These full-time roles offers the opportunity to work in a supportive, collaborative environment.
We have open roles for advanced Surgical RVT's with strong anesthesia monitoring experience, along with RVT's dedicated to supporting our doctors and technician appointments.
As a Registered Veterinary Technician at Central Veterinary Hospital, you will play an integral role in patient care and client communication within our practice.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Perform or assist with physical exams, technician appointments, and prescribed treatments
  • Communicate treatment plans and provide clear, compassionate client education
  • Monitor anesthesia and assist veterinarians during procedures as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment
  • Uphold hospital standards for patient care, safety, and client service
  • Support the modernization of our long-established practice, including assisting with the implementation of AI-scribing workflows and electronic medical records systems
Key Skills & Qualifications
  • Venipuncture, vaccine administration, and X-ray proficiency
  • IV catheter placement and endotracheal tube placement
  • Dental cleaning/polishing, extractions under DVM supervision, and dental X-rays
  • Wound assessment, bandaging, and splinting
  • Technician appointment skills including patient restraint, nail trims, anal gland expression, history gathering, and assisting during exams
  • Urine collection via cystocentesis (with ultrasound)
  • Anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance
  • In-house lab work and blood pressure monitoring
  • Preparation of surgery packs and patient surgical prep
  • Client education and post-op instructions
  • Active RVT license in California required
