RVT Sonographer

We are seeking a qualified RVT Sonographer for immediate placement in our Ambulatory Surgical Center located in Cranberry Township, PA. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in general diagnostic, and special procedures, cardiac catheterization; experience in IR and Cath Lab is a plus.

The RVT Sonographer will provide ultrasound images and related data to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of disorders affecting the vascular system. This is a challenging, fast-pace job with Monday to Friday schedule, NO nights and weekend shifts. Access Center hours Monday ? Friday, 7 am to 4 pm. Responsibilities and Duties:

Performs clinical assessment and all requested sonographic examinations as ordered by physician including peripheral arterial disease and upper extremity vein mapping for dialysis access

Performs preliminary reports and communicates findings to the appropriate physician according to established procedures

Maintains ultrasound equipment and work area, and maintains adequate supplies

Organizes daily work schedule and performs related clerical duties as required

Participates in community education activities regarding access center

Experience:

RVT Sonographer: 2 years (Preferred)

Scrub: 1 year (Preferred)
