Job description

Franchise Sales Director - West Coast & Midwest

Sales Territory:

California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Idaho, Utah, Nevada, Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, New Mexico, and additional territories as assigned.

This is a 100% remote position with travel throughout the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will reside within the territory.

WHO YOU ARE Sales Consultant

Partner with the Regional Vice President to drive franchise growth across the West Coast, Midwest, and Northwest regions. Proactively identify, engage, and cultivate independent brokerage owners and growth opportunities within assigned markets. Build and execute market penetration strategies, create conversion opportunities, and develop relationships that advance through the franchise sales pipeline. Understand and effectively communicate the Corcoran value proposition, growth strategy, and competitive differentiation.

A self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and takes ownership of outcomes. Demonstrates persistence, creativity, and accountability in building pipeline, creating opportunities, and driving business growth. Strategic Sales Advisor

Leverage CRM tools to manage pipeline activity, track prospect engagement, and maintain accurate forecasting. Develop market analyses, due diligence materials, and executive presentations to support prospect evaluation and business decisions. Identify trends, opportunities, and risks within assigned markets and provide actionable insights to leadership.

Collaborative Partner

Work closely with the RVP, Sales Enablement, Marketing, Operations, and Shared Services teams to maximize sales effectiveness. Leverage available resources, market intelligence, and tools to accelerate prospect movement through the sales funnel while maintaining ownership of key relationships and opportunities.

TEAM-BASED COVERAGE MODEL
  • Operates as part of a two-person sales team alongside the Regional Vice President.
  • Shares responsibility for territory coverage, prospect engagement, pipeline development, and market intelligence.
  • Collaborates with the RVP to prioritize target markets, prospect strategies, and resource allocation.
  • Participates in joint prospect meetings, market visits, conferences, and business development activities.
  • Success is measured through pipeline creation, opportunity advancement, territory growth, and contribution to closed business.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Shared Ownership of Franchise Growth
  • Drive prospecting and business development efforts across assigned markets to identify qualified franchise opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with brokerage owners, team leaders, and industry influencers to create a sustainable pipeline of future opportunities.
  • Partner with the RVP throughout the franchise sales lifecycle, including prospecting, qualification, relationship development, presentations, market visits, due diligence, negotiations, and deal advancement.
  • Independently lead early-stage prospect engagement, qualification, and discovery conversations while advancing opportunities through the sales funnel.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects that supports territory growth objectives and future revenue goals.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify strategic opportunities and emerging market trends.
  • Represent Corcoran at industry events, conferences, networking functions, and market visits to expand brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the RVP on territory planning, market prioritization, and growth strategies to maximize coverage and conversion opportunities.
  • Lead meetings and presentations independently while partnering with leadership on complex negotiations and final-stage conversion discussions.
  • Contribute to annual growth objectives through pipeline creation, opportunity advancement, relationship development, and closed business.
QUALIFICATIONS What You Must Have Education
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience
  • 3+ years of sales, business development, franchise development, management consulting, or related experience.
  • Real estate, franchise sales, brokerage operations, or related industry experience preferred.
Business Acumen
  • Ability to analyze financial statements, evaluate business opportunities, and identify growth potential.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
Communication Skills
  • Proven ability to deliver compelling presentations both virtually and in person.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence executive-level decision-makers.
Digital Literacy
  • Experience utilizing CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, and sales technology tools.
Other
  • Approximately 50-75% travel.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Residence within the assigned territory strongly preferred.
