RV SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Kunes RV of is seeking to hire Entry Level and Experienced RV Service Technicians to troubleshoot and repair a variety of RV systems and appliances. This is a great opportunity to begin a rewarding, long-term career and to earn an excellent income while learning valuable skills during our in-house, full-time RV Service Tech Apprenticeship Program!! We offer continued training to all levels of experience!



RV techs know a little bit about everything—electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, etc. If you can do any one of these, we’ll teach you the rest! To get started as a new RV tech in our dealership, you don’t need specific RV experience. But you do need to be handy, dedicated, responsible and professional. Kunes RV, one of the most successful RV dealers in the market, has immediate openings for RV Technicians as we expand our award-winning service department. There are multiple positions within our service department that can accommodate a variety of technical experience. If you enjoy troubleshooting, working with your hands and consider yourself mechanically and technically inclined then we want to hear from you. This is an opportunity to build a career in a growing industry.

Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Examine and diagnose RV problems
  • Discuss repairs with RV service advisor
  • Communicate additional service requests to RV service advisor
  • Provide labor time estimates to RV service advisor
  • Monitor repair time and update RV service advisor regularly
  • Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on RV care and operation
  • Complete story and/or documentation for repairs
  • Attend company and factory training

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Experience working in an RV Dealership environment is preferred
  • Certification from college or technical school in trade field (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, -Maintenance, etc.) is certainly helpful but, we also consider applicable work experience
  • RVDA/RVIA CERTIFICATION a plus
