PleasureLand RV Center is hiring a full-time Service Advisor / Service Writer. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, customer-focused, and motivated to help keep a busy service department running smoothly.

This is not a technician position. You do not need to be an RV expert to apply. We are looking for someone who communicates well, follows through, stays organized, and is willing to learn our service process.

This role is a great fit for candidates with experience in automotive service, powersports, marine service, equipment rental, dispatching, scheduling, warranty, customer service, or dealership operations.

As an RV Service Advisor, you will be the main point of contact between our guests, technicians, parts, warranty, and management teams. You will help customers through the service process from the first conversation through final pickup, making sure repairs are documented accurately, updates are communicated clearly, and each guest receives a professional service experience. For over 55 years, PleasureLand RV has remained a family-owned company built on customer service, integrity, and continued growth. As our company continues to evolve, the Service Advisor role is essential to protecting the trust our guests place in us and helping deliver the Best in the Midwest service experience.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will help manage the guest service experience from start to finish. Responsibilities include:

  • Greet guests professionally and provide a positive service experience
  • Listen to customer concerns and accurately document repair needs
  • Create, review, and maintain complete repair orders
  • Schedule service work based on shop capacity, customer needs, parts availability, and department priorities
  • Communicate with guests regarding repair status, estimates, approvals, delays, completion, and pickup expectations
  • Coordinate with technicians, parts, warranty, and management to keep repairs moving forward
  • Ensure proper documentation, coding, approvals, and notes are completed before repair orders are closed
  • Notify customers when work is complete and coordinate timely pickup
  • Collect payment at the time of pickup unless prior arrangements have been approved
  • Maintain accurate Work in Progress information and support department deadlines

What We're Looking For

A strong candidate will be:

  • Professional, dependable, organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through
  • Comfortable communicating with customers, technicians, and team members
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Calm and professional during difficult customer situations
  • Comfortable using computers and learning service systems
  • Willing to learn RV systems, warranty processes, and company procedures

Helpful Experience, But Not Required

Experience in any of the following is a plus:

  • Service advising or parts and service department operations
  • Customer service, sales, scheduling, dispatching, or administrative support
  • RV, automotive, marine, powersports, equipment, or dealership service
  • Warranty processing or repair order documentation
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, or service management systems

Why Join PleasureLand RV?

We offer:

  • $60,000-$110,000 per year, based on experience and performance
  • Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • 401(k) with company match and profit sharing
  • Employee discounts
  • Ongoing training
  • Growth opportunities
  • A supportive, team-focused work environment
